P6 Shows "Not Responding" for Several Minutes When Assigning a Baseline (Doc ID 2791518.1)

The P6 Professional application (both desktop and PVD) hangs and shows Not Responding... for multiple minutes when the user attempts to assign a baseline.


The baseline should be assigned within a few seconds.


This issue can be reproduced at will using the following steps:

  1. In P6 Pro, open a project.
  2. Click Project > Assign Baselines... in the menu.
  3. In the Project Baseline drop-down list, select a project.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Observe the reported behavior.
