Custom Print Report Not Populating After Removing The Rich Text Field (Doc ID 2793826.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to load Data Model in BI Publisher, the following error occurs:

ERROR

"Could not able to parse datamodel xml, it is either corrupted or not valid"


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Reports & Analytics
  2. Click Browse Catalog - expand Shared Folders - expand Enterprise Contract
  3. Select Contract Printing - for Contract Preview Sample Data Model select Edit 
  4. Click on 'Data' tab > Click on 'View'
  5. The reported error occurs
