This document describes how to address the following error message while trying to rehire an employee

PER-1530269 The selected person has an active assignment of this type with this legal employer.

In this case, the employee was rehired as we verified in the PER_ALL_ASSIGNMENTS_M table, but was not visible in Person Management page.
