Oracle Fusion Recruiting Cloud: Job Offer Alerts Not Sending After 21B (Doc ID 2799965.1)

Symptoms

Problem Description:

After updating to 21B, job offer alerts are all ending with errors and Recruiters are noticing they no longer receive the seeded alerts.

Errors received are similar to the one below:

Exception when sending message for recipient id: 300000099999999  nullCompleted Processing Template with TemplateId : [3000000999999999] Template Name : [Notify offer team that external candidate accepted job offer], Alert Name : [IRC_JobOffer_Accepted_External] 

Error: java.lang.NullPointerException at java.io.StringReader.(StringReader.java:50) at groovy.text. TemplateEngine.createTemplate(TemplateEngine.java:41) at oracle.apps.hcm.common.core.alerts.AlertUtils.createTemplate(AlertUtils.java:726) at oracle.apps.hcm.common.core.alerts.applicationModule.AlertsAMImpl$TemplateTranslationRow.evaluateBodyExpression(AlertsAMImpl.java:2565)...
