Symptoms

When attempting to view .avi, movie, or multimedia files with Viewer preferences set to Native, using Chrome, Edge, and Firefox the following error occurs.

ERROR

"Files cannot be viewed because of a missing system configuration setting. Contact System Administrator"


STEPS FOLLOWED TO DUPLICATE

  1. Access the environment
  2. Change system viewer to "native" in preferences
  3. Navigate to the .avi (or other multimedia, or movie) file
