Error Creating A New Report: Failed To Load Data Source - Failed To Load URL (Doc ID 2823163.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to create a new report in BI Publisher the following error is generated:

ERROR

Failed to load data source. /UnifierReports/UserList/DM/DM_USER_LIST.xdm, /~[USER_NAME]/Drafts/Draftw - [DATE_AND_TIME].xdo, readBusinessViewXML error: Error: undefined:key=Error.Failed to load url

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into BI Publisher Production
  2. Select New > Report
  3. Enable Use data Model
  4. Under Create a report using an existing Data Model - select any data model
  5. Click on next
  6. Notice the error
