FA: SCM: Pricing: FBDI Price List Batch Import END-INSERT Operation Does Not Update LAST_UPDATE_DATE Column In The QP_PRICE_LIST_CHARGES Table (Doc ID 2830419.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 16, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Order Management Cloud Service - Version 11.13.21.07.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

  1. The Price List Batch Import FBDI template is being used to to create new charge record for items, while end dating the existing charge, using the END-INSERT Operation.
  2. This action is working as expected, however, the when revieweing the charges in the QP_PRICE_LIST_CHARGES table, the LAST_UPDATE_DATE on the end-dated charge is not getting updated to the date on which it was end-dated.
  3. Below is an example of the above issue-
Before performing END-INSERT of Charge
Charge Line Number  Start Date End Date Creation Date Last Update Date
 1 01-Oct-2021   02-Oct-2021  02-Oct-2021
After performing END-INSERT of charge and adding a new charge
Charge Line Number Start Date End Date Creation Date Last Update Date
1 01-Oct-2021 30-Nov-2021 2-Oct-2021 2-Oct-2021
2 1-Dec-2021   8-Nov-2021 8-Nov-2021

In the above example, the End Date for line 1 was updated by the END-INSERT function, but the last update date is not reflecting the actual last update date, which should be 8-Nov-2021.
