Symptoms

On : NA version, Integration RT


When OIC integration migrated from one environment (for eg: Dev) to another environment (for eg: QA) editing Kafka Trigger Or Invoke to change the topic configured, it fails with error.

ERROR

001 : Failed to create config page :[[
org.apache.kafka.common.errors.TopicAuthorizationException: Topic authorization failed. Root cause of the Exception : null


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Create integration with kafka adapter (Trigger or Invoke) pointing to a queue.
- Export integration and import into new environment
- Edit the trigger or invoke and go through the wizard will fail with reported error

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users not able to change the topic used on trigger.
