Goal

Why when using a custom endpoint URL does it return an SSL error and doesn't save the custom endpoint?

Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN

When editing custom endpoint per https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/integration-cloud/oracle-integration-oci/editing-edition-license-type-and-message-packs-instance.html and saving it, it looks like it updates and saves, but when going back to it, the custom endpoint isn't showing up.

Also why is this error being seen?

The SSL Certificate uploaded to the Vault secret [ocid1.vaultsecret.XXX] is either invalid or malformed.
Error Reason [com.google.gson.stream.MalformedJsonException: Failed To Parse JSON String Read From Vault.
CausedBy: com.fasterxml.jackson.core.JsonParseException: Unexpected character ('\' (code 92)): was expecting comma to separate Object entries at [Source: (String)"{ "key": "-----BEGIN ENCRYPTED PRIVATE KEY-----\nXXX\nXXX\nXXX/nXXX\nXXX\nXXX\nXXX"[truncated 7473 chars]; line: 2, column: 1875]].
Please update the vault with proper SSL certificate in the right format. If you believe you are seeing this message in error, please contact Oracle support at [https://support.oracle.com] and provide the integration instance identifier [ocid1.integrationinstance.XXX] and WorkRequest Identifier [ocid1.integrationworkrequest.XXX].
