Primavera Administration OCI Cloud: An Existing User Cannot Be Given Primavera Unifier Production Access (Doc ID 2853105.1)

Symptoms

When the Cloud Administrator attempts to provide Primavera Unifier Production application access for a user, the error message below is displayed in Notifications in Primavera Administration:

2022-03-01T22:54:57.206+0000 Assigned Application Access for User: FIRSTNAME.LASTNAME@EMAIL.COM


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Cloud Admin logs into Primavera Administration > User Administration.
  2. Find user FIRSTNAME.LASTNAME@EMAIL.COM > Gear Icon > Manage Application Access > Add Primavera Unifier Production access to the user > Save Changes
  3. There is an error notification in Primavera Administration.
  4. The Notification error indicates that the users Email address has Invalid Characters.
