Search in Simplified Editor Fails with Error: "Cannot find member (x) for dimension (dimension name)"

Symptoms
In Simplified Editor when the user try to choose the option as "Both" (alias & member name) to search a member, it does not search and throws an error pop-up with the below message.
"Cannot find member (x) for dimension (dimension name)"
And if the user try to search using one option "Member name" or "Alias" it searches the result without any issue.
