Fusion Compensation: WFC: Batch Processes: How to have employee show as eligible after running refresh (Doc ID 2854765.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 17, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Workforce Compensation Cloud Service - Version 11.13.21.10.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

SCENARIO 1:
Legal Employer change found employee eligible after Start Process and ineligible after Refresh

Customer has one employee that is being found eligible (correctly) when the Start Workforce Compensation process is run and then when the subsequent Refresh Workforce Compensation Data process is run they are switched to ineligible (incorrectly).

This employee has a Legal Employer change in HR and the data looks correct where the prior assignment is inactive.

For our eligibility profile, we are checking for Active Assignment status through fast formula along with other criteria and the employee meets the criteria to be eligible.

When testing the eligibility results, they are returning eligible.
-Track ineligible workers is not checked in the plan
-Hide ineligible workers is checked in the plan.

SCENARIO 2:
Core HR data change after compensation awarded.

Customer uses a coexist model where nightly changes from another system are packaged up into a .dat file and the changes are all loaded into Oracle Cloud through HDL.
They are currently in a Workforce Compensation planning cycle.

An employee who has a hired 8/2/2021 can be seen in Administer Workers that they received a compensation award for one of the components on 1/26/2022. Then some changes occurred for the employee in Core HR.

It looks like there was a new row added and a correction to the hire row. There was no canceled work relationship and there was no Global Transfer but after the Core HR changes were entered and the Refresh Workforce Compensation Data process was ran, you can no longer see the compensation award that was entered on 1/26/2022.

In the audit trail you can see the award amount was entered and there isn't any evidence that the award was removed but when we look at the worksheet for the employee, there is no award present.

How can the customer determine why the award disappears after these HDL rows update the main assignment? but we are not able to replicate it in our test pods.
Again, the work relationship is the same and we aren't dealing with a global transfer but these EEs are now missing out on their awards and we can't really tell why.
