System Hangs And Session Is Broken For User (Doc ID 2857524.1)

The system hangs and the session is broken for the user

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to ReSA and try creating a transaction or correcting errors
2. Find an item where a UPC is not found.
3. Click on item record (edit mode)
4. Click on UPC magnifying glass
5. System hangs and the session is broken for user
6. User is forced to exit the un-gracefully close browser and re-login.
7. Record is locked in DB until database clears session.
