Symptoms
When an HTML table is inserted embedded into a document designer document, styles defined in the <table> element will overwrite styles defined in the <tr> and <th> elements
In the below example, the width definition in the <table> element will cause the embedded table to stretch across the page and evenly split the column widths rather than using the defined widths
