Symptoms
Getting the below error message while trying to add a new picklist value, although the length of newly added value is less than 30 Characters
"Value too long for field 'Value' (Maximum Size 30)"
Actual Behavior

System should allow adding the new picklist values.
Expected Behavior
----------------------------
Its throwing an inappropriate error message that the length of the field is greater than 30 characters
