Symptoms
When the In Service Date (PDIS) is changed on the Add Asset UI, the Category Rules are not automatically refreshed with the correct attributes such as the life, method, convention, etc. See below for the sceanrio.
Asset Category have multiple rules based on the Date Place In Service (DPIS)

Open Period is Aug-07
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create asset via the Fixed Assets > Tasks > Add Asset
2. Enter the required information such as book, category, cost, etc.
3. Click Next button
4. Change the defaulted In Service Date from 8/31/07 to 8/31/06
5. Populate any additional required fields before clicking the Submit button.
