Nothing Happens When Attempting to Copy a User Defined Report (UDR) (Doc ID 2865363.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

While viewing a User Defined Report (UDR), nothing happens when clicking the "gear" icon on the left and selecting Copy.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Users that can view and run a UDR should be able to Copy it.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to Unifier and navigate to the Company or Shell level User Defined Reports.
  2. Select the UDR to be copied.
  3. Click the Gear icon and select Copy.
  4. The reported issue occurs (nothing happens).
  5. Log out and log back in as an Administrator.
  6. Navigate to the same Company or Shell level User Defined Reports as above and select the same UDR.
  7. Click the Gear icon and select Permissions.
  8. Note that the user in Steps 1-4 only has View & Run permissions.
  9. Select the Edit Report permission for the user and Save the change.
  10. Login to Unifier as the original user.
  11. Now the Edit User Defined Report window opens; the user can make the desired changes and save the new report.
