Symptoms
SAR data is not available for the entire day (in Oracle Linux 7) or is corrupt in (Oracle Linux 6).
In Oracle Linux 6, full data corruption is observed:
# sar -u Invalid system activity file: /var/log/sa/sa13
In Oracle Linux 7, partial data is provided (data prior to the Scale-Up activity is not available):
# sar -u Linux 4.14.35-1902.306.2.10.el7uek.x86_64 (hostname) 02/13/19 _x86_64_ (6 CPU)

Changes
Memory and CPU resources were hot-added to the system.
