Agents Not Listed in Drop-down on ODI Console Execute Dialog Box (Doc ID 2867436.1)

Symptoms

A Physical Agent is defined in the Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Studio topology for a J2EE agent. However it is not visible when trying to use it for executing Scenarios or Load Plans on ODI Console.

To execute a Scenario or a Load Plan on Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Console, below steps are followed

  1. Select the Browse Navigation tab.
  2. Navigate to Runtime > Scenarios/Load Plans > Scenarios.
  3. Select the scenario you want to execute.
  4. Click Execute in the Navigation tab toolbar.
  5. Select an Agent, a Context, and a Log Level for this execution.

However, the Agent drop down is empty.
