Error Message "Costed Quantity Must Be Equal To The Line Item Quantity For Cost Line Item Type Of Unit Cost" When Creating Commitment BP Record (Doc ID 2875164.1)

Symptoms

When trying to create a new commitment Business Process (BP) record the following Message below (Error) is being displayed. It has been confirmed that all the data elements associated are more than zero, but the message is still being displayed.


ERROR

"Costed Quantity must be equal to the line item Quantity for Cost Line Item Type of Unit Cost".


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into the Unifier environment.
  2. Navigate to the Project/Shell where the issue has been observed > User Mode > Upper BP log > Commitment type BP > +Create > Select WF > Select record with BP Picker > Complete required fields > Set "To:" recipient(s) > Save
  3. Line Items > Add > Unit Cost > Item Quantity is a non-zero value Unit cost is a non-zero value > Line Item Test > Cost Breakdown > CBS picker select cost code > Save
  4. Error message noted above is displayed.
