Error: ORA-29861: Domain Index Is Marked LOADING/FAILED/UNUSABLE, When Attempting To Import Configuration Package Into Production (Doc ID 2876830.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to import Configuration Packages from Stage to the Production environment, Unifier displays an "Alert" message that is blank. Importing any of the same configuration packages from Stage into the Test environment works as expected and without error.

"Alert"... no other details displayed in the User Interface.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Create configuration packages in Stage
  2. Log into Production
  3. Proxy as Company Administrator > Navigate to Company Workspace > Admin Mode > Configuration Package Management > Configuration Packages > Import > Select the Configuration package > Import.
  4. The blank Alert message is displayed in the Production UI.
  5. Log into the Test environment.
  6. Proxy as Company Administrator > Navigate to Company Workspace > Admin Mode > Configuration Package Management > Configuration Packages > Import > Select the Configuration package > Import.
  7. The Configuration Package designs are imported without error.
