P6 Web Activities View Does Not Load With Group By Hierarchical Activity Code (Doc ID 2876846.1)

Symptoms

In P6 EPPM (web) Activities view, when grouping by an activity code with hierarchy sort order, the page will never load.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Log into P6 EPPM
  2. Projects tab - Open a project
  3. Activities tab
  4. Manage Views
  5. Choose a view
  6. Add an activity code column for Group By
  7. For sort order, choose Hierarchy
  8. Apply
  9. Activities Page will not load.
