When using Database 19c, Mount DBFS fails with ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified (Doc ID 2879249.1)

Symptoms

While migrating from SOACS MFT to SOA on Marketplace, dbfs was not mounted properly, "?" is seen in place of permission as below:

root@<HOST_NAME> soacs]# ls -tlr
ls: cannot access dbfs: Permission denied
ls: cannot access dbfs_directio: Permission denied
total 0
d?????????? ? ? ? ? ? dbfs_directio
d?????????? ? ? ? ? ? dbfs
drwxr-x---. 2 oracle oracle 6 May 11 14:54 dbfs_adv
drwxr-x---. 3 oracle oracle 17 May 11 14:54 mftroot


When trying to unmount and Mount dbfs,  using steps in following document,

Mount dbfs failed with following different errors:


[7fbda603d700 06/23/22 21:52:37.613222 <HOST_NAME>:409         ] ERROR: ERROR 12154 - ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified



use: bad mount point `/u01/soacs/dbfs': Input/output error

 

Invalid username/password error.
