Project Checker Fails With The Java Heap Space Error (Doc ID 2879783.1)

When attempting to run project checker against one or a few selected project(s),
the following error occurs.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log on P6 Web.
  2. Open a project.
  3. On the Activities Page, go to the Actions menu.
  4. Choose Reports -> Project Checker
  5. Allow default options and Run
  6. Wait for completion, refresh the View Service Status window and view the Failed status.
