Magnifying Glass Throws 404 Not Found Error During Mass Update on Enhanced Workbench (Doc ID 2880121.1)

Symptoms

We are using a custom screenset where fields are made to be editable. An Enhanced Workbench is created with this screenset. A Mass Update is performed on this workbench and the mass update dialog opens. We click on the "magnifying glass" to search for a field on this window and the following error is thrown:
