The Spinner Jet Display Type Does Not Increment Properly (Doc ID 2880645.1)

Last updated on JULY 24, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle BigMachines CPQ Cloud Service - Version 22 B and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Spinner Jet display type does not increment properly the first time when a constraint is added to the attribute.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create 1 integer attribute (auto update) and set the JET display type as spinner, set the default to 0 and increment value to 1
  2. Create a constraint rule that will throw an error for the value 0 but should allow any other value
  3. In configuration, attempt to increment the value from 0 to 1 via the spinner. The constraint does not clear. Pipeline viewer displays the value of the attribute still 0.
  4. Changing the value manually from 0 to 1 does not cause this behavior, nor does it show if you increase the spinner one more time (attribute's value =2), then reduce it by 1.
