Symptoms

Problem Description:

Using the Job-Level-Based Line Manager Hierarchy approval option with the 'Approve Job Requisition' transaction.
The rule is configured for "All Job Requisitions should ultimately conclude with approval by a Vice President."

ERROR: ORABPEL-30107 exception.code:30107 exception.type: ERROR exception.severity: 2 exception.name: Error fetching manager list using Hierarchy Provider. exception.description: Failed to walk up the hierarchy for principal: <Top Level Approver> . exception.fix: Check Starting Point/Task Creator and Up to Approver values and Hierarchy Provider setup.
