Symptoms

The following Unifier System Error messages could be displayed when logged in as a Proxy for another user and performing routine operations in Unifier. The operations being displayed can vary greatly, but can best be described as routine operations.

ERROR
-----------------------

In older versions (20.x) of Unifier the message may appear as follows.
"Unifier Notification They system could not process your request. Logging in again may help in some cases. Contact your System Administrator if you are still having problems."

In newer versions (21.12.x) of Unifier the message may appear as follows:
"Alert   Error Code: <CompanyName>-<10-digit hexadecimal number> An unexpected error has occurred, and the system cannot process your request. Contact your System Administrator referencing this error code <CompanyName>-<10-digit hexadecimal number>."  (Example Oracle-ABCDE12345)

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into the Unifier environment
  2. Proxy as another user
  3. Perform routine work within Unifier
  4. The error message above may be displayed intermittently and without warning
