Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When creating a new Business Process (BP) record "BP1" there is an Inactive BP workflow schema (unique combination of Setup Name + Workflow Name) that is available when the user clicks on Create.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
----------------------------
The expectation is that an inactive workflow schema should not be an option for selection when creating a new BP record.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into the Unifier environment
  2. Navigate to the workspace where the issue has been observed > User Mode > Find and select the "BP1" node > Click "+Create"
    • In this example there are three workflows being listed, including one that is in an "Inactive" status
  3. When selecting the "Inactive" workflow schema to create the record with, the following Alert pops up: Alert - You do not have permission to access this record.
  4. In the same workspace, switch to Admin Mode and navigate to: Setup > BP1 > Workflow Setup
    • In this example there are two Active BP workflow schemas and two Inactive BP workflow schemas listed. Only the two "Active" workflow schemas should be available when creating a new record.
