Issues Approving Contact Requests On Slow Internet

Symptoms
When approving a contact request with a slow internet connection through the OCC Admin UI, the approval request is not sent to the server.
Steps to Reproduce:
1) Login to OCC-Admin
2) Accounts >> Contact Requests >> Select a request
3) Chrome browser debug >> Network >> change from 'No throttling' to 'slow 3G' >>
4) Change the status to 'Accept' >> Save
5) 'Accept confirmation dialog box' >> accept
Result:
Approve request is not coming in debug, and checking the request displays in 'Review' status.
