Symptoms

Customer has a requirement to clone DB system with duplicate method using normal RMAN backup which are stored in oracle cloud. To generate list XML file for RMAN DUPLCIATE/CATALOG via cloud fails with following error:

$ python odbsrmt.py --mode=rman-listfile --credential=<OSS username/OSS auth token> --host=https://objectstorage.uk-cardiff-1.oraclecloud.com --container=Winbot_US --forcename=duplicate.xml --dir=/u01/app/oracle/storage

opc_validate: Error connecting objectstorage.uk-cardiff-1.oraclecloud.com, status: 404
