In uDesigner, Why Can a Snapshot Be Made for One Data Object or Business Process but Not Another? (Doc ID 2903010.1)

Symptoms

In any Unifier non-production environment : any Version

When trying to create a Snapshot of a data object in uDesigner:

Expected Result

The New button should be enabled for any data object.

Actual Result

The New button is enabled for one/some data object but not others.

Steps to Reproduce

In any Unifier non-production environment

  1. At the Company Workspace, in Admin mode, click on: uDesigner > Business Processes (though any item under the uDesigner node can be selected)
  2. Select an item in the log on the right and click on the Open button
  3. In the menu on the right click on File and select Snapshots

Notice whether the New button is enabled or not.
