Symptoms

 The job BDI_RPAS_MerchHier_Fnd_PF_From_RMS_JOB creates the product file for MFP. However, when a new department or any Merch Hier level is created in MFCS and has no items present, the merch hierarchy is not extracted in the product file at all.


This creates an issue in MFP where a planner can plan for a new department even if there is no valid item under that department but cannot proceed as the department is not present in MFP.
