Adding Maxymiser to a Layout Throws "Failed to update slot Maximiser Campaign Variation Slot" (Doc ID 2906998.1)

Symptoms

After maxymiser integration is configured successfully, Maxymiser Campaign Variation Slot will be available in Design Tool. When adding this slot to a layout, it may throw following error:


Reproducible Steps

1. Complete Maxymiser integration following "Create Maxymiser Campaign Variants in Commerce" at https://docs.oracle.com/pls/topic/lookup?ctx=cx-commerce-latest&id=CCINT-GUID-32BB3B22-B1D0-4A6B-BB35-998D66959670
2. Go to Design and create a layout with name ~ Maxy Server Side AB Test ~
3. Drag Maxymiser Campaign Variation Slot to the above layout. Notice the above error
