Fusion Global HR: The Error "Invalid Syntax Found for the SQL Query That Is Formed" Is Received When Updating Person Extra Information Flex Fields. (Doc ID 2907138.1)

Symptoms

  1. Two Errors are received when attempting to Update Person Extra Information Flexfields:


Steps to replicate errors:

    1. My Client Groups > Person Management
    2. Search for Person in question
    3. In the Search Results, select Actions > Person and Employment > Person
    4. Click on the tab Extra Information
    5. Click the pencil icon, and select "Update"
    6. Choose a date and click OK
    7. Click on the page in question
    8. Receive ADF error and then the SQL error


  1. Context Usage of Person Extra Information Extensible Flexfields is configured to use "View Person" and "Manage Person" data privileges.

    Steps to illustrate:
    1. Setup and Maintenance
    2. Access the task "Manage Extensible Flexfields".
    3. Search for and select "Person EIT Information"
    4. Click Actions > Edit
    5. In the section Category, select the Display Name "Person Extra Information"
    6. Click "Manage Contexts"
    7. In the field Display Name, search for the Page in question.
    8. Select the page in the search results, and click Edit.
    9. Under the tab Context Usages:
      1. The field View Privileges is set to "View Person"
      2. The field Edit Privileges is set to "Manage Person"
