Error "Unable To Save Changes" When Attempting to Delete a User Group(s) in Prime, But No Existing Assignments or Connections Are Visible (Doc ID 2907345.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to delete a User Group(s) in Oracle Primavera Cloud, the following error occurs even when the selected User Group has no visible assignments or connections.

ERROR

"Unable to save changes"

"The following groups have one or more assignments: <User Group>.  You must remove all assignments before you can delete this group"

    

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. In OPC, navigate to Global Admin > User Groups.
  2. Select a User Group then right-click and Delete it.
  3. The reported error occurs.
