Error: The Value Entered For Role Name Must Be Unique When Adding a New Role Via Web Services With the Same Name Even Though Resource Name Does Not Have This Restriction (Doc ID 2910137.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to enter duplicate Role Names, the following error occurs.

ERROR:

The value entered for Role Name must be unique.


STEPS:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log into any P6 EPPM 21.12.4.0 environment (with a user account that can add, edit, delete Resources and Roles).
2. In P6 Web, go to Resources tab.
3. Select Administration, Roles.
4. Add a Role:
Role ID: R12345
Role Name: Role 12345 Family
5. Add another Role:
Role ID: R12345A
Role Name: Role 12345 Family
6. Click Save.
7. The error options appears.
8. Click it and it will say "Role 12345 Family: Already exists. Enter a unique value"

9. In P6 Pro, go to Enterprise, Roles.
10. Add a Role:
Role ID: R67890
Role Name: Role 67890 Family
11. Add another Role:
Role ID: R67890B
Role Name: Role 67890 Family
12. The error "The value entered for Role Name must be unique" appears.

Using Web Services does the same thing using the CreateRole Object.
