JET Display Type Is Ignored On First Call (Doc ID 2911284.1)

Symptoms

When you run a rest API call to set a text attribute to have over 256 Characters, the call will fail even when Jet display type is set to text area.

Changes

Starting on 22C Text Attributes are now enforced to be under 256 characters.

 Workaround 1:
 If you first pass a value under 256 characters, then the next call will now accept values over 256 characters.

Workaround 2:
 Change legacy display type to text area.
  
 Note: Our development team has reviewed this product defect and determined that it has minimal impact on users. It is considered a low priority and is not scheduled to be fixed in the near future. Please refer to the workarounds
