Unable to Create / Update Data in GL Cross Reference Screen Without Providing Values for Dynamic Segments (Doc ID 2912477.1)

Symptoms

Unable to create / update data in GL Cross Reference screen without providing values in dynamic segments.

ERROR
------------
"Invalid account/segments/set of books id"

Steps to Recreate:

  1. Make sure the dynamic segments are properly configured.
  2. Navigate to Foundation>GL Cross Reference
  3. Click on Actions>Create
  4. Populate the set of books. Cross Reference Type = Basic Transactions and Transaction Code = DIRAF or any other.
  5. Populate all segments with a valid account combination except for the dynamic segments.
  6. Try to save the date and notice the error.
    "Invalid account/segments/set of books id"
