HTML Tags are Shown in the Email/Worklist Notification when Notes are added to a Check-In Doc

Symptoms
Problem Description:
A Manager adds more than one line to the 'notes' section of a Check-in Document as follows
- My team/Performance Overview
- Click on a person (who the Check-in Doc is for)
- Choose the appropriate Review Period
- Under 'Check-Ins' click on 'add'
- template:<choose the appropriate Check-in template>
- Name: <give it an appropriate name eg. "Check in with XXX">
- Click on 'save'
- In 'General Discussion Topics', click on 'Add'
- Add two lines of text
- Click on Save
The team member receives the Email and Worklist notification, with the title "<Manager Name> added a note to the "<discussion topic>" Discussion Topic in your Check-In document <CheckinDocName>"
When opening the notification, in the "Note Text" section, the Notification message contains html tags. For example:
Review Period MyReviewPeriod2021-2022
Check-In Date 2022-11-30
Check-In Template MyCheckinTemplate
Note Text:
<p>Hello I am checking to see if you are ok</p> <p>And to see if any HTML tags have been added in the notification</p> <p> </p>
