How to Retrieve SSL Certificates for Inbound Integration Prior to Renewal (Doc ID 2914778.1)

Last updated on MARCH 14, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Global Trade Management Cloud Service - Version 22.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

All inbound communications are over HTTPS on port 443 and are encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and SSL certificates.

These certificates are available from your application URL as explained in Chapter 7 Integration of the Cloud Administration Guide here https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/logistics-cloud-suite/index.html. Instructions on how to retrieve the certificates using Firefox are given.  You can also find the steps in <Note 2905156.1>

In most circumstances, certificate renewals will have no impact to your integration if you have properly installed only the root and intermediate certificates.  We do not require that your install the full certificate chain, and in fact if you do install the complete cert chain your integrations will fail when we upgrade the certs until you have installed the new certs.

If you have properly installed only the root and intermediate, then you need take no action when OTM/GTM certs expire and new ones are installed.

There are special circumstances where the full certificate chain must be installed.  For example,  you are sending integration from the EBS ITM Adapter as explained in <Note 2455210.1>

Certificates will be posted to this note 30 days prior to the certificate renewal date.  If you need a certificate that is not yet attached, please open a Service Request to follow up on this.
