FAW: OneLogin SSO: Session Getting Timed Out For Active Users (Doc ID 2917376.1)

Goal

Authentication flow as per the below architecture and in IDCS the session timeout is set correctly :

  • The end-user logs in to FAW portal.
  • FAW redirects the user to IDCS for the authentication
  • IDCS redirects the user to OneLogin for the authentication
  • OneLogin controls if the user’s session exists or not. If not, it authenticates the user using Windows credentials (authentication delegation to a ‘AD connector’ agent)
  • Once the authentication of the user is done and confirmed, OneLogin redirects user back to IDCS with a SAML token
  • IDCS validates the user’s identity and redirects user back to FAW with a token. And FAW lets the user access to portal

 Users are getting logged out from FAW console even when active (creating reports etc.) and are asked to login again.
