Goal

If the instance is not accessible using a Secure Shell (SSH) or Remote Desktop connection, use console connections to access it for troubleshooting. There are two types of instance console connections: serial console connections and VNC console connections. This document has step-by-step instructions to create a VNC console connection to a Linux or Windows instance.
