Item Supplier Country Cost At SKU Level Is Being Updated Via XItemSupCtyMod Message At Style Level (Doc ID 2920597.1)

Item supplier country cost at SKU level is being updated via XItemSupCtyMod message at Style Level.

Customer reports when publishing cost changes using xcostchange, that although they are updated correctly at SKU level, once a style level change has been published the sku cost changes are reversed. Also no entry is written to the price_hist table.

This is happening via the XItemSupCtyMod message which is overwriting the unit cost in item supplier country.

Item supplier country cost should not be updated via XItemSupCtyMod message. the Xitemsupctymod message is overwriting the unit cost in item supplier country, but not writing any records to price_hist table.

We published cost changes for 6 items using the xcostchange and those were updated properly at SKU level.

Afterward a style level change was published, and the sku cost changes were reversed however there was no entry written to the price_hist table.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create a new cost change
2. Record the cost change
3. Use XItemSupCtyMod to create a message at the style level and note that the cost change is reversed but the price_hist table has no new entry
