Symptoms
In DEV2 environment, MERCHAPI_EXT_ITEM_ADHOC_JOB running more than exec seconds set in batch parameter.
In this scenario, exec seconds was set to 3540 seconds (59 minutes) and sleep seconds was set to 300 seconds. The job ran for 1hr 25 minutes to process 63k item records. As per the job logs, the job was polled only once.
Need to know what could be the issue here?
Steps To Recreate:
1. Update item description of 63k records
2. Set parameter of batch to "exec_seconds":3540,"sleep_seconds":300,"uuid":4000000017
3. Run MERCHAPI_EXT_ITEM job
4. Monitor the job runtime and job would run for more than 59 minutes
