Can't Cancel An Allocation After OWMS Distributes It Even Though It Releases It

Goal
When we create an allocation in the allocations module and send it to the OWMS system, OWMS confirms to MFCS that the inventory was already selected (column qty_selected of the alloc_detail table) at this step can no longer make any changes to the allocation. In OWMS - cancel the wave to remove the selected and then OWMS sends a message to remove the selected (column qty_selected of the alloc_detail table) and after this event it doesn't allow to modify or cancel the assignment either.
What would be the procedure to deallocate and release the reserved inventory?
