Symptoms
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
When a user that is logged into Unifier has their preferences set to a language other than English, and there is a Reverse Auto-Population (RAP) done on a Data Element (DE), the string data is stored in the preferred language instead of English.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
The entry under the Data Element should remain in the original language and should not translate to the user's preferred language.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Sign into Unifier
- Navigate to the applicable workspace
- Open the source record
- With this entry selected, the workflow will automatically RAP the Status when the RAP is triggered
- Open the destination record
- Check the Audit Log and notice that the Status is shown in the user's preferred language instead of the system's native language
