IMAP Configuration Microsoft Azure AD OAuth 2.0 Not Working (Doc ID 2926105.1)

Symptoms

The configuration is done according to the Oracle documentation.
The SMTP configuration works for this authentication, but IMAP sends the following:
java.lang.RuntimeException: Authentication failed for incoming email server: user=xxx.xxxxxx@xxxxxx.mx, server=outlook.office365.com:993, sslEnabled=true
