Analyze Data Usage Returns Incorrect Project Count (Doc ID 2926550.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When Using the Analyze Data Usage function in Administration > Enterprise Data > Project Codes, the Project Count returned is different than the number of projects that actually contain that Project Code.
 

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Project Count should reflect the actual number of projects where this Project Code exists.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to P6 Web.
  2. Go to Administration > Enterprise Data > Project Codes.
  3. Click Analyze Data Usage.
  4. Note Project Count for a specific Project Code.
  5. Go to Projects > EPS.
  6. Sort by that Product Code (Remove all Grouping).
  7. Notice the number of Projects with that Project Code is different from the Project Count.
