Error: "Selected View Has Never Been Published" When Using Data View and Error: "ORA-00918: column ambiguously defined" When Attempting To Republish the Same Data View (Doc ID 2926930.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to use a Unifier Data View the top error in "Error" section below is displayed. When setting the Data View to "Draft" and then attempting to set it back to Published, the second error in "Error" section below is displayed. There have been no changes to the Data Views in many months or longer. There was a recent Unifier patch applied and that was the only known change.

When trying to republish the Data View: "Alert ORA-00918: column ambiguously defined"

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Log into Unifier.
2. Navigate to Company Workspace > Data Structure Setup > Data Views > Find and Open a Data View > Click "Data".
3. This error is displayed in the Unifier UI:  "Alert   Selected view has never been published."
4. Set the Data View status back to "Draft" and then try to Publish it.\
5. his error is displayed in the Unifier UI:  "Alert ORA-00918: column ambiguously defined".
